Shelties in England 1998

We visited England in September'98
and we bring some photos of the winners at two shows:

11.9.98: Richmond Championship Show (11-13.9). Terry Thorn judged Shelties - 179 entries. Photo: BOB and CC was the sable dog Ch Amethrickeh the Wizard (Ch Mohnesee the Sorcerer ex Rowancrest Rebecca of Amrthrickeh) - also Crufts winner 1997 - owner Mrs H M Bendelow. ResCC was his son Amethrickeh's Magician ( ex Melneg Xtra Special) - owner Mrs H M Bendelow. BOS and CC was Lysebourne Kushabaloo at Myter - owner Mrs Thomas, and resCC was her younger litter sister Lysebourne Katie Brown (Midnight Apollo of Lysebourne ex Kentee Cherry Brandy of Lysebourne) - owner Mrs S Giddings.

Photo: Best puppy was Jan Moody's sable dog Janetstown Jongalong (Ch Morestyle Monsoon ex Janetstown Jingle Jade).

13.9.98: Mid Western Shetland Sheepdog Club's Open Show -
The Sheltie of the Year.
Open Show judges was: Helge Lie (Leeland – Norway) who judged 104 dogs and
Gwen Beaden (Myriehewe) judged 143 bitches.

Photo: BOB at the Open Show and Best Dog was Ch Herds The Helmsman (Ch Tegwel Wild Ways of Sandwick ex Herds Hot Gossip), owner Miss M G Gatheral. ResBOB and best bitch was Ch Shevall Sheen (Ch Crisanbee Goldsmith at Myriehewe ex Seavall Selebrity), owners Mrs J Hardman and Mr E Robinson.

Best puppy was the bitch Sommerville Candy Floss at Colroy (Ch Marklin Espree ex Sommerville Original Girl) owner Mr H McGucken, N. Irland, and best puppy dog was Lythwood Sir Douglas (Ch Lythwood Steptoe ex Lythwood Selena) owner Derek Rigby.

The competition "Sheltie of the Year" (14), "Sheltie Puppy of the Year" (14) and "Sheltie Veteran of the Year" (16). The three judges for this competitions were Christine Aaron (Shelridge), Rosalind Crossley (Willow Tarn) and Margaret Heathley (Whytelaw).

The two best in "Sheltie of the year" were: 1.(photo left) Ch Morestyle Monsoon (Ch Morestyle Moonriver ex Morestyle Star Billing) owner Mrs E Wilson. 2.(photo right) Ch Milesend Stormwarden (Ch Tegwel Wild Ways of Sandwick ex Chelmarsh Countess at Milesend), owners Mr & Mrs G L Miles.

The two best in "Sheltie Puppy of the Year'98" were: 1.(photo) Ch Hartmere Hallmarked (Shelridge Socrates ex Martmere Hidden Gold) owner Mr M Hart. 2.Janetstown Jogalong (Ch Morestyle Monsoon ex Janetstown Jingle Jade) owner Mrs J Moody.
