Family 26 All names on the Family Charts are bitches except for those in the end of some of the branches marked with M after its name and colour - they are Dogs (Male). Names on the Chart marked in read = an English exported Sheltie.

This Family 26 was added to the Charts in the beginning of 1970 when I made the first Handbook for the Norwegian Shetland Sheepdog Club. The English Charts don't have this Family as there has not been bred any CC winners in England belonging to this Family. In my work tracing back all the Norwegian owned CC winners I had great help from the late Felicity Rogers (Kennel Riverhill) who had been working with the all English Charts. In her work in helping me tracing this family back she found that it ended up with unregistered bitches and she could not find them linked to any of the already existing 25 English Families ! I then asked her if I could call this "new" family: Family 26.

This is the history behind Family 26 who in fact started with the English exported bitch Kedale Molly - imported to Sweden by Hauffman (Kennel Shepherd) in 1932.
